Controversial Nigerian crossdresser Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky, has taken legal action against social media influencer VeryDarkMan, whose real name is Martins Vincent Otse.

A case document published online by Bobrisky shows that he filed a ₦1 billion lawsuit against VeryDarkMan, alleging defamation and damage to his reputation.

Bobrisky claims that VeryDarkMan released a recording allegedly generated using Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology, which has tarnished his image.

Bobrisky’s lawyers have given VeryDarkMan a 24-hour ultimatum to retract his statements and apologize.

The trending voice conversation alleged that Bobrisky paid ₦15 million to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to drop money laundering charges against him. Furthermore, it’s claimed that instead of serving his six-month prison sentence for naira abuse in a correctional facility, he spent time in a VIP facility after paying Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS) officers.

Meanwhile, the Federal Government has since taken swift action, suspending senior NCoS officers due to these allegations.
