OGITECH MOURNS DEMISE OF PRINCE BABATUNDE BANGBOSE

The whole of Ogun State Institute of Technology (OGITECH) community was thrown into mourning on Monday, March 23, following the sudden passing of Prince Babatunde Bangbose, a lecturer in the Department of Mass Communication.

According to reports from the family, Prince Bangbose, who had recently undergone surgery and was recuperating, passed away unexpectedly. The news sent shockwaves throughout the campus, with students, staff, and management expressing their condolences.

Prince Bangbose was a dedicated lecturer and staff adviser to the Association of Mass Communication Students (AMACOS). He also served as Sub-Dean of the School of Communication and Information Technology (SCIT).

The Ogitech community said his contributions to the institution and his impact on the lives of students and colleagues were significant. A funeral service was held at his residence in Lafenwa, Obasanjo Farm Road, Ogun State today, with the OGITECH management, staff, AMACOS executives, students, and family members in attendance to pay their last respect. 

The institution has described Prince Bangbose as "a man of the people, loved by all, a legend, and a rare gem." His legacy is expected to live on in the hearts of those who knew him.

Students across the campus have taken to social media to express their shock and grief over the loss of their beloved lecturer. Many described Prince Bangbose as a father, mentor, teacher, and life coach who had a profound impact on their lives.

Tributes have been pouring in on various social media platforms, with students sharing fond memories of Prince Bangbose's teachings, guidance, and support. His passing has left a void in the lives of many, and he will be deeply missed.
