OGUN GOV DAPO ABIODUN APPOINTS TOP UNILAG GRADUATES AS EDUCATION AMBASSADORS, AWARDS N10M EACH

Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun, has appointed Samuel Badekale and Haroun Adebakin, the best graduating students of the University of Lagos during its 55th convocation, as the state's education ambassadors. The governor presented them with cheques of N10m each in recognition of their academic excellence.

During a meeting at his office in Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta, the state capital, Abiodun commended their exceptional achievement of attaining a 5.0 Grade Point Average, stating that they had made the state proud and set themselves on the path of greatness.

Governor Dapo Abiodun, addressing the newly appointed Education Ambassadors, Samuel Badekale and Haroun Adebakin, highlighted their ability to relate to younger students' experiences and challenges, making them effective role models.

Abiodun congratulated the students and assured them of support in their future endeavors. He presented them with N10m each as a token of appreciation for their academic achievements.

The governor further stressed the significance of education as a pathway to success, emphasizing its role in poverty eradication and opportunity creation. He commended the students' perseverance, consistency, and discipline in achieving their goals, noting that they embody the Ogun State spirit of striving for excellence.

He commended their dedication to the abstract discipline of Cell Biology and Genetics, noting their exceptional 5.0 GPA and top-of-the-class performance. 

Abiodun highlighted the state's commitment to education, citing the introduction of reforms like the Revitalization Agenda and a Learner Identification Number system. He also acknowledged the role of parents in shaping their children's success.

Badekale and Adebakin expressed gratitude for the recognition, encouraging young people to focus on their studies and avoid negative influences.
