"The season of taking Nigerians for granted is over" Nabena warns APC - Oluwapelumi Alao

 

Hon. Yekini Nabena, A former Deputy of National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressive Congress has warned the leaders of the party that the era of arrogantly taking people for granted is over. 

He said that the party’s defeat in the just concluded governorship election in Osun state was a warning to the ruling party ahead of the 2023 elections.

He opined in is his  statement issued on  Tuesday, that there is a need for genuine reconciliation across the country among all the All Progessive Congress political leaders and stakeholders in States like Gombe, Kwara, Kogi, Kano, and Ogun respectively without delay. 

“The era of taking people for granted arrogantly and thinking you will win elections is far over, hence APC leaders across board must respect each other and forge a united front ahead of the 2023 general elections". Nabena maintained. 

Hon. Yekini Nebena further stated that the party’s defeat in Osun State concerning the governorship election is a warning to the Lagos state governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu and other APC governors in other  states.
