OGITECH: PRESS CLUB ORGANIZED THE FIRST DEBATE FOR SUG PRESIDENTIAL ASPIRANTS

Press Club, Ogun State Institute of Technology, Igbesa, coordinated a debate today for the aspirants aspiring for the post of Students Union Government (SUG) President at Multipurpose hall in the institution.


The aspirants am​bi​tious for the post of SUG President are Comrade Michael Soaga from Mass Communication Department, Comrade Abdullahi Adedotun from Computer Engineering Department and Comrade Ezekiel Ojo Marketing Department.


This debate is to lodged their capabilities, priority and what they prepared to do once emerge or not, though, it was a tough tie in the debate of the aspirants


The Lecturers, The Press and Students from different Departments were present at the confer​ence which make it more lively and full of discussion.



Mr. Kehinde Tajudeen Shogbamu, A lecturer in Mass Communication Department,  in OGITECH advice the Aspirants and students to support theirselves in exchange of ideas and also look to the ways which is of benefits to the school as well as outside the institution because we are all here to learn from each other.



Mr. Sabitu, A lecturer in Business Administration at Ogun State Institute of Technology, Igbesa told the students to relax, though election is not easy but peace during it goes a long way.

Therefore, aspirants, students and lecturers should be prepared to showcase peace, free and fare election.



Faruq Ganiu, an HND1 Students of Ogun State Institute of Technology, Igbesa,  mentions some former SUG President who have contribute to the institution in a good way.

He also told the aspirants that what is need is a  sailor who will drive the institution to the great sea edge.


Mr. Justice Nwonkoko, a Lecturer in Mass Communication Department in the institution also confided that the students and Aspirants will maintain peace in the upcoming election which will take place next week in the school premises.

    This is a great idea and it shows that the institution is moving forward. In every political race there is always a winner and vice verser ,I wish all the aspirants best of luck and also implore them to maintain peace during and after the election
