Alimot Akorede Abolanle a student of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic has emerged as the President Elect of Association Of Mass Communication Students' MAPOLY chapter.
In an interview with our correspondent, she said " I was running with two guys named Abiodun Taiwo Fada and Salman Quadri Salman for the office of the presidency but God made me the winner".
According to her, the first election was held on the 5th of August 2022 but was manipulated after having 700 students that did accreditation and over 1000 votes was counted and was nullified by the school management.
The newly elected president of AMACOS MAPOLY chapter told the News Correspondent that another election was held in the 7th of September 2022 and she won with 33 votes.
The President Elect of Association Of Mass Communication Students' (AMACOS) OGITECH chapter, Emmanuel Oluwatomisin Afolabi (EOA) has congratulated the newly elected Female President for her consistency and ruggedity.
He also said, they will be working together as team for a greater development of the department and their various institutions as well.
