THE OVERVIEW
It is widely believed that the toll gate will increasingly be used to meet the transportation needs of Lusada-Igbesa citizens and businesses, for planning purposes and the edification of affected communities.
It is important to note that the economic growth can be measured in terms of the number of jobs created, total person income changes and some other changes measured.
Governor Dapo Abiodun led other executives to commission the 10.25km Lusaka-Igbesa toll-gate in Ado-Odo local government of Ogun state on March 29, 2022.
The major challenge of the area has been poor road infrastructure, which has discouraged a lot of businesses in the zone. The road was so bad that traders and heavy duty trucks found it difficult to navigate.
The structure has been headed as yet another outstanding method of enhancing Ogun State’s Internally Generated Revenue (IGP).
The Free Trade Zone was commended for their humanitarian act of constructing the road which would not only be useful for them, but for the entire community of Lusada-Igbesa area.
The board chairman, Ogun State Free Trade Zone, Prince Gboyega Nasir Isaka has said the unveiling of the toll-gate will boost the state’s GDP but after months of commissioning, citizens residents tend to think this is not the case as they haven’t any form of changes.
The reconstruction of the road and even the toll gate has really been of great help to the community, because it has stopped different accident from occuring. 👏🏻
