Defending champion of the OGITECH Freshers Cup 2024 edition, the Computer Science team, has suffered a surprising defeat in the semi-finals against Business Administration. The thrilling match, played at the institute's football field today, ended in a penalty shootout victory for Business Administration.

Despite a goalless first half, both teams intensified their efforts in the second half, but neither could find the back of the net, leading to a tense penalty shootout. 

Ultimately, Business Administration emerged victorious, securing their spot in the final against Mass Communication. Computer Science will now face off against Elect Elect in the third-place match. This loss marks a disappointing exit for the defending champions, who had hoped to retain their title.
