The Ogun State Institute of Technology (OGITECH) recently inaugurated its new Student Union Government (SUG) executives and Student Parliamentary Council (SPC) members. The ceremony, held at the Prince Dapo Abiodun Twin Hall A, was attended by dignitaries including the Rector, Dr. Abiodun Oluseye, and other top officials.
Dr. Oluseye charged the new executives to take responsibility and lead by example, emphasizing that leadership is a call to service. He advised them to develop essential skills, study their environment, and work together as a team.
The newly inaugurated executives were sworn in by the Institute's lawyer, Barrister Cashmere. In their inauguration speech, the Student Union President and Speaker emphasized the importance of prioritizing students' welfare and pledged to transform the narrative of student leadership on campus.
This event marks a significant milestone for OGITECH, as the new executives are expected to collaborate closely with the management to enhance student welfare and contribute to the development of the institution.
