Taylor Swift has made history once again, becoming the female artist with the most number-one albums in UK chart history. Her album "Lover (Live From Paris)" secured the top spot on the UK's Official Charts on Friday, marking her 13th number-one album and surpassing pop icon Madonna, whose record stood at 12.

Swift is now tied with Elvis Presley as the international artist with the most number-one albums in UK history, with only The Beatles and Robbie Williams having more, at 15 each.

The album, initially released in limited quantity in 2023, surged to the top of the charts following the release of a new heart-shaped 2LP vinyl edition in time for Valentine's Day. Notably, it also became the first album in eight years to reach number one based purely on sales, without any streaming figures, a feat last achieved by Swift’s "Reputation" in 2017.

Swift's dominance in the UK music scene continues, with her 2024 album "The Tortured Poets Department" being the country's biggest-selling album of the year, bolstered by the success of her record-breaking "Eras." This latest achievement further solidifies her status as a leading figure in the industry, showcasing her ability to connect with fans through her diverse musical styles and poignant lyrics.

As Swift continues to break records and redefine the music landscape, her influence extends beyond just sales figures. With each new release, she inspires a new generation of artists and fans alike, proving that her artistry and dedication to her craft are unmatched in the contemporary music scene.
