Ogun State Institute of Technology (OGITECH) Rector, Dr. Abiodun Oluseye, has commended Elizabeth Leonard, a Higher National Diploma 2 Mass Communication student, for promoting the institution on TikTok.
Leonard, known as Senami on the platform, created a viral TikTok video that asked, "Have you heard of a school called Ogun State Institute of Technology, that school wey dey Igbesa?" The video, which has garnered significant attention, has brought positive recognition to OGITECH.
Dr. Oluseye praised Leonard as a good ambassador of the school, encouraging her to continue promoting OGITECH on her TikTok account, Senami6262.
Leonard, who is celebrating her birthday today, March 14, expressed her determination to continue promoting her institution. She revealed that creating the video helped her become more outspoken, as she is a self-described shy person.
With aspirations of becoming a content creator, Leonard is committed to balancing her academic pursuits as a final-year student.
