OGITECH TOP GRADUATE JUGGLES HND, BSc PROGRAMS AT UNILORIN

Afolabi Sodiq, the overall best graduating student of OGITECH's 2021/2022 academic session, is a 400-level Chemical Engineering student at the University of Ilorin. Sodiq, who initially planned to attend university after completing his OND, was admitted to Unilorin while still in his HND program. He decided to pursue both programs simultaneously, balancing his academic responsibilities. 

Sodiq emphasized the importance of maintaining focus on academics and self-development, particularly in romantic relationships. "A great relationship should be a source of motivation, not distraction," he said.

Sodiq's innovative final year project, an Automatic Facemask and Body Temperature Detector, has garnered attention. He aspires to work in a leading energy, oil, and gas company, applying his expertise in Chemical Engineering and Physics Electronics to solve real-world industrial challenges.  

Sodiq urged current students at OGITECH to strive for excellence, embracing challenges and networking beyond the classroom. "Success is not just about talent but consistency, resilience, and the courage to aim higher," Sodiq said. "Keep pushing; your best is yet to come. The future is bright, and greatness awaits."
