"Benue State University Teaching Hospital (BSUTH) has achieved a major milestone in treating growth disorders in children by introducing advanced technology to tackle stunted growth and accelerated development."

Chief Medical Director (CMD) of BSUTH, Dr. Stephen Hwande, unveiled a groundbreaking development during the “Unveiling Latest Diagnostic Advancements in BSUTH” event in Makurdi, the Benue State capital. Dr. Hwande highlighted the hospital's new technology to diagnose and treat children with growth disorders, emphasizing the importance of proper development.

Parents are encouraged to bring their children to BSUTH for growth hormone treatment if they face growth-related challenges. Dr. Hwande mentioned the hospital's ability to diagnose various conditions, including heart failures, infectious diseases like Lassa fever and monkeypox, and growth hormone abnormalities.

With the recent recruitment of skilled professionals and advanced diagnostic equipment, Dr. Hwande expressed confidence in BSUTH's capacity to enhance medical care standards. He stated, “Today, we are unveiling the latest diagnostic equipment to improve performance.
