Nigerian singer Anthony Ebuka Victor, widely known as Victony, has revealed that he continues to experience leg pain despite undergoing four surgeries.

In 2021, Victony was involved in a serious car accident that tragically claimed one life and left three others injured. The severity of the accident resulted in him being confined to a wheelchair for nearly a year.

In a recent interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo, the singer shared that he is scheduled for a fifth surgery due to ongoing pain. "My leg still hurts. I am still going to do another surgery. I’m living with it. I have just accepted that experience," he stated.

Victony emphasized that while he does not take pride in the incident, he has embraced it as an integral part of his journey.

"It’s what is making me who I am today. That’s my story. I don’t want to happily identify with it, but it’s part of my journey," he added.

The artist also revealed that he was in a coma for three to four days following the accident. He expressed that he struggled with "survivor’s guilt" upon learning about the loss of life in the crash, but he has since worked to overcome those feelings.

Despite these challenges, Victony has continued to make strides in the music industry, using his experiences to shape his artistry and inspire his fans.

Victony’s resilience is evident not only in his music but also in his determination to share his story with others.
