The Association of Mass Communication Students (AMACOS) at Ogun State Institute of Technology, Igbesa, recently hosted its annual freshers' night party at Wakdat Hotel and Suites.
The event, held on Thursday, 27th, aimed to welcome freshmen in a lively atmosphere, featuring music, dance, comedy, and other performances.
According to AMACOS President, Comr. Marvellous David, the freshers' night is a beloved tradition that fosters interaction and relaxation among newcomers.
Despite initial doubts about the event's feasibility, Marvellous expressed gratitude to the faculty and department for their support. He noted that the party was a resounding success, with no incidents reported.
In his advice to the freshmen, Marvellous urged them to remain committed to their academic pursuits and appreciate the investments made by their parents.
